History: For centuries, patchouli oil has been used in the East to scent clothes and linen. The difference between Patchouli Dark & Patchouli Light: Patchouli Dark is steam distilled once that leaves a rich scent that is dark in color. Patchouli Light goes through a second distillation process to lighten its color, and soften its rich notes.
