Aromatic Description: Known for its fresh lavender scent. Somewhat fruitier with a rich floral scent. More mellow and less camhorous than regular Lavender.

Aromatherapy Properties: (Uses) Very subtle, refined aroma, highly regarded among aroma therapists and very satisfying, this Lavender is grown and distilled in the French Alps, which causes the oil to be distilled at a lower temperature. 

Blends well with: Bergamot, Chamomile Maroc, Citronella, Lemon, and Pine, Ylang Ylang, Rosewood, Patchouli, Geranium

History: Lavender is adapted to living in a dry climate and is native to the western half of the Mediterranean, reaching altitudes of up to 1800 meters. It is believed that the Romans and the Benedictine monks subsequently introduced it to rest of Europe.
