Aromatic Description: The oil has a strong fresh citronella-like odor with a sweet balsamic undertone. Commonly known as lemon scented eucalyptus.

Aromatherapy Properties: (Uses) The oil has a strong fresh citronella-like odor with a sweet balsamic undertone. Very effective insect repellent due to a higher citronellal content than citronella.

History: In the 1980s, Eucalyptus species, hybrids and clones are planted commercially in South Africa for the production of pulp and paper and various other forest products. It has slowly evolved into production of essential oils.
