Lavender Linen Spray

Fall asleep to the ultimate luxury of fresh lavender scented sheets. Turn any bed into a fresh scented lavender farm!

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups Water

4 tbs dried Lavender buds

2 TBS vodka or clear alcohol (used to help evaporate quickly and leave the scent behind)

10 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Spray Bottle (Preferably Clear)

Plastic Funnel

Coffee filter or paper towel

Directions:

  1. Start by making a lavender tea essentially. Heat 1 cup of water to a simmer. Then add the 4 tbs of dried lavender buds. Let the mixture steep for about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Boil the remaining 1 1/2 cups of water and fill the bottle using the funnel. Add the vodka and Lavender essential oil. Then line the funnel with the coffee filter (or paper towel) and strain the Lavender Bud mixture (that was set aside) through the funnel into the bottle. Let it cool before using.
  3. Tip: Add a drop or two of purple food coloring to bring out the color. It won’t stain your sheets as it’s such a small amount.

The alcohol in the mixture helps propel the spray through the air and allows the spray to evaporate quicker leaving behind just the fragrance. Spray on sheets and enjoy!
