Vanilla essential oil is Vanilla is a strong stimulator sending signals of pleasure and happiness to the brain. This is why vanilla base foods, such as vanilla ice cream, are so popular. Vanilla is considered a premiere sensual aphrodisiac and one of the most popular aromas. Comforting and relaxing. It is also an ingredient in Oriental type perfumes. A fold is the standard measure of strength of pure vanilla.

A single fold vanilla contains the extractive matter of 13.35 ounces of vanilla beans, Two fold uses 26.7 ounces of vanilla beans, contains twice as much extractive matter and is twice as strong. Three fold and four fold are three or four time the content of one fold. Ten fold essential oils are considered to be superior to the extracts commonly sold.

This oil is Therapeutic Grade. Commercial Grade essential oils are usually made of the left over plant materials after finishing the therapeutic distillation process. The commercial grade oils retain a robust fragrance suitable for soap making, candle making, as well as cosmetic manufacturing. Unfortunately, because of the reduced active therapeutic content, the commercial grade oils will not be suitable for aromatherapy or massage therapy applications. Silky Scents Essential Oils are all Pure and Therapeutic Grade, not Commercial Grade.
