 Disinfectant

Natural Disinfectant
 
   Ingredients:

  1/4 cup vodka
  1/4 tsp. Lemon
  1/4 tsp. Grapefruit Pink
  2 cups water
  1/4 tsp. Tea Tree
 
  Just shake and spray the counter, the boards, the dish rack.  This can also be used for air freshener and on furniture you want the cats to stay off of.
 
 

Germ Fighter Spray
 
   Ingredients:

  6 drops Eucalyptus Globulus
  12 drops Tea Tree
  6 drops Lemon
  2 oz. distilled water
 
  We've all been told to wash our hands more frequently. Here is an antiseptic, germ fighting spray to use on cuts and scrapes. May also be used as a room spray. Combine ingredients and add to spray bottle. Shake gently before use.
 
 

Virus Disinfectant Spray
 
   Ingredients:

  10 drops Pine Black
  10 drops Tea Tree Organic
  10 drops Thyme White
  10 drops Clove Leaf
  180 ml Water (approximately 6oz)
  1/4 tsp - Exuberance Conditioner
 
  Dissolve essential oils in conditioner and mix well. Add conditioner and essential oil mixture to water. Pour into a spray bottle. Shake well before use. Keep out of the reach of children.
 
 

Bathroom air spray

  5 drops Thyme White
  10 drops Citronella
  5 drops Eucalyptus Globulus
  5 drops Sage
  5 drops Cinnamon Leaf
  10 drops Lavender French
  10 drops Bergamot
  10 drops Tea Tree
  5 drops Lemon
  500ml distilled water
 
  This wonderfully refreshing air spray will keep your bathroom clean from bacteria and viruses. Mix all ingredients together. Shake this mixture well before each use. Spray every day to keep your bathroom smelling fresh and clean.
 
 

Disinfectant (non-wood) Surface Cleaner

  
 
    Ingredients:

  1 tsp Lavender Bulgarian  
  1 tsp Tea Tree Lemon  
  1 tsp Litsea Cubeba   
  1 tsp borax  
  2 cups distilled water  
  1 cup Liquid Soap (unscented)  
 
  Use this to spray-and-wipe clean all non-wood bathroom and kitchen surfaces. Place all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well before each use. First spray the surface, then use a soft cloth to wipe clean.

Antibacterial Bathroom Cleaner

  
 
   Ingredients:

  2 tsp Tea Tree  
  1 tsp Peppermint  
  2 tablespoons (or more) Liquid Soap (unscented)  
  1 tbsp white vinegar (optional)  
  1 cup baking soda  
 
  A natural antibacterial cleanser that helps you clean your home without hurting the planet. The aroma of the essential oils makes the cleaning experience a pleasure. Measure the baking soda into a bowl with a tight fitting lid. Add approximately 2 tablespoons of liquid soap (either regular dish washing soap or a natural brand of liquid soap such as liquid Castile soap). Mix well to create a paste-like consistency. If you need more liquid soap to do this, add it a little at a time until the mixture is like a paste -- pliable but not soggy. Once you have a consistency you feel like you can work with, add the essential oils and mix well again. The addition of vinegar last helps to boost the cleaning power. To use, scoop out a little of the cleanser and use a sponge or other cleaning tool to gently scrub your tub, shower and sink surfaces. A little goes a long way and the antibacterial effect of tea tree gives you extra peace of mind.

Cleansing Aromatherapy Blend

  1 drop Lemongrass  
  1 drop Lavandin  
  1 drop Tea Tree  
  1 drop Citronella  
  6 tbsp Sweet Almond Carrier Oil  
 
  Kills odors, bacteria, molds, fungus, repels insect and mice. Mix all ingredients together. Apply every day to keep your area smelling fresh and clean.  
 
 

Disinfectant Room Spray

  6 drops Bergamot  
  10 drops Lavender French  
  6 drops Thyme Borneol Organic  
  15 drops Tea Tree  
  10 drops Lemon Myrtle Organic  
  4 ounces water  
 
  This recipe is strong. Use in a ventilated area. Add essential oils to water in a spritzer bottle. Shake well a few times per day for several days after making the spray, and right before each use. Some of the oil will still float to the top, but because the tube in the bottle extends to the bottom, this should not present a problem.
